As I walk the streets I think of things I'd like to communicate somehow, but the thoughts are a bit too ephemeral for the keyboard. They are not with me now.

I write from a coffee shop in the Mission (San Francisco California US Earth &c), mostly to test the newness of the wordpress 2 editor. It's pleasant, if a bit aquarian.

I also got around to looking at categories-as-tags, after my experiments with tags and photos. Wordpress already has the necessary infrastructure -- I just needed to pull a cloud out of the database. There are quite a number of people who do this. I ended up settling randomly on the category tagging plugin from Michael Wöhrer. Works well enough with some tweaking.
