notes from the computer lab

shout outs

I was listening to the radio last night, just doing a bit of hacking. I looked up, though, when I heard my learners' names---so that's why they've all been asking for email addresses lately, so they can email the radio station! It was pretty rockin. A good portion of the emails the fellow read were from my learners, them and the students at the university in Windhoek. Rock on.

I administer a computer lab at my school. We have fifteen computers, of which 11 work. I'm working on the others, but they're really low-end. Anyway, I switched them over to GNOME 2.6 yesterday, from KDE 3.2, and things seem to be going pretty well. I actually want to do administration now :)

Maybe I'll write up something more in-depth later.
