heading out
hack-o-the-week
I hacked up an mtools backend for gnome-vfs. so that users of our thin-client ltsp computer lab can use the floppy drive on the client. Now they can access the floppy easily, with nautilus, instead of the horrible mtoolsfm. Check the link above to see the full reasons why I did such a silly thing.
hiatus
I'm headed out, yo. I leave tomorrow for Windhoek, where I'll meet Christian Schaller. We're renting a car and tooling around the country. I won't be email-responsive for a couple of weeks at least.
meta
I need to get a proper setup on my blog. I hacked the wordpress index.php too much in the beginning, so that now it doesn't show pingbacks, or offer archive listings/searches or category feeds. I'll get that together when I have some Spare Time(tm).
